Ingredients

Instructions

  1. 1. Soak the lentils overnight in enough cold water. The next day, peel the sweet potatoes, rinse them, and cut them into coarse cubes. In the mixing container, roughly chop the sweet potatoes for 10 seconds on speed 5, then transfer them to a bowl.
  2. 2. Cut the onion in half, peel it, and also chop it into coarse cubes. Add the onion and bacon to the mixing container and chop for 15–20 seconds on speed 5. Add the oil, place the lid on without the measuring cup, and cook on the sauté setting for 5 minutes.
  3. 3. Drain the lentils in a sieve. Then, add the bay leaf, lentils, and broth to the mixing container and cook on reverse mode for 20 minutes at 95 °C.
  4. 4. Add the diced sweet potatoes and 1/2 tsp salt, and cook on reverse mode for 10 minutes at 100 °C.
  5. 5. Slice the sausage into rounds about 1 cm thick. Add these to the soup and heat through on reverse mode for 3 minutes at 95 °C. Season the lentil soup with sweet potatoes and sausage with salt and vinegar, and remove the bay leaf before serving. Enjoy your meal!
