  1. 1. Rinse lentils thoroughly in a sieve under cold water, then bring to a boil in a pot with one bay leaf and about 600 ml cold water. Simmer over low heat for approx. 20 minutes until al dente. Add the raisins five minutes before the end and cook them through.
  2. 2. Wash the grapes thoroughly and halve them. Remove the lettuce leaves from the core, tear into bite-sized pieces, wash, and drain well.
  3. 3. Heat a pan over medium heat and toast the walnuts without fat for approx. 2 minutes until fragrant. Let cool briefly and chop coarsely.
  4. 4. In a bowl, mix honey, olive oil, vinegar, salt, and pepper well. Then add the lentils, grapes, lettuce, and walnuts to the bowl and toss everything with the dressing.
  5. 5. Plate the salad. Tear the ham into coarse pieces and serve together with the salad. Enjoy your meal! Tip: The salad can also be prepared in advance and transported in a sealable jar.
