🥤 Colorful Lemon Soda Cake

Ingredients
- Eggs 4 pcs.
- Sugar 200 g
- Vanilla extract 1 tsp
- Lemon paste 1 tsp
- Salt pinch
- Lemon soda 245 ml
- Sunflower oil 200 ml
- Wheat flour, Type 405 400 g
- Baking powder 3 tsp
- Icing sugar 200 g
- Chocolate lentils 200 g
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 170 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 2. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
- 3. Place a cake ring on the prepared tray.
- 4. Whisk the eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, lemon paste, and a pinch of salt for 4 to 5 minutes until white and creamy.
- 5. Stir in 200 milliliters of lemon soda and the sunflower oil into the egg mixture.
- 6. Mix the flour with the baking powder.
- 7. Stir the flour mixture briefly into the batter.
- 8. Pour the batter into the cake ring.
- 9. Bake the cake in the preheated oven at 170 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.
- 10. Remove the cake from the oven.
- 11. Let the cake cool down completely.
- 12. Whisk the powdered sugar with 45 milliliters of lemon soda to form a thick glaze.
- 13. Spread the glaze evenly over the cooled cake.
- 14. Smooth out the glaze.
- 15. Sprinkle the colorful chocolate sprinkles directly onto the wet glaze.
- 16. Carefully remove the cake ring.
- 17. Place the cake on a serving plate.
- 18. Cut the cake into squares or rectangles.
