🍰 Lime Sesame Squares

Ingredients
- Organic limes 2 pcs.
- Sesame, white 100 g
- Sugar 150 g
- Honey 3 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the limes thoroughly, grate about 1 tsp of zest, then halve and squeeze out the juice.
- 2. Heat a pan over medium heat and lightly toast the sesame seeds without fat. Transfer to a plate and sprinkle the lime zest over them.
- 3. In the same pan, melt the sugar with the lime juice for about 3 minutes. Then add the honey and caramelize everything until golden brown.
- 4. Stir the sesame seeds and lime zest into the caramel mixture and immediately spread onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Spread about 3–5 mm thin and let cool. Cut or break into pieces and store in a cool, dry place. Enjoy!
