Ingredients
- onions, red 1 pc.
- apples, red 1 pc.
- cress bed 1 pc.
- Limburger 400 g
- vinegar 3 tbsp
- salt pinch
- pepper, black ground pinch
- cumin 0.5 tsp
- oil 3 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. Cut the onion in half and remove the outer skin.
- 2. Slice the onion into very thin pieces.
- 3. Wash the apple thoroughly under running water.
- 4. Cut the apple in half and remove the hard core in the center.
- 5. Slice the apple halves into thin pieces.
- 6. Wash the cress under cold water.
- 7. Shake the cress dry so that no water droplets remain on it.
- 8. Slice the Limburger cheese into thin slices.
- 9. Pour the vinegar into a large mixing bowl.
- 10. Add salt, pepper, and cumin to the vinegar.
- 11. Stir the spices well into the vinegar.
- 12. Pour the oil in a thin, steady stream slowly into the bowl.
- 13. Whisk the mixture with a spoon or whisk until it forms a creamy dressing.
- 14. Add the sliced onions, apple slices, and Limburger slices to the bowl with the dressing.
- 15. Toss all ingredients gently so they are evenly coated with the dressing.
- 16. Serve the salad on plates and garnish it with fresh cress.
