🍽️ Crispy Lamb Fillet on Stuffed Apples

Ingredients
- Basil, fresh 25 g
- Macadamia nuts, roasted and salted 125 g
- butter 4 tbsp
- Salt Pinch
- Pepper, black ground Pinch
- Apples, red 4 pcs
- Lamb fillets 400 g
- Marjoram, dried 1 tsp
- Olive oil 3 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. Turn on the oven to 200 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 2. Wash the basil thoroughly and dry the leaves well.
- 3. Pluck the basil leaves from the stems.
- 4. Finely chop the basil leaves and macadamia nuts together.
- 5. Mix the nut and basil mixture in a bowl with softened butter.
- 6. Season the butter mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
- 7. Wash the apples and remove the core.
- 8. Fill the apples with the nut butter mixture.
- 9. Place the stuffed apples in the oven and bake them for about 35 minutes.
- 10. Rinse the lamb fillet under cold water.
- 11. Pat the meat dry with a kitchen towel.
- 12. Rub the lamb fillet with salt, pepper, and marjoram.
- 13. Heat oil in a pan on high heat.
- 14. Sear the lamb fillets on all sides for about 4 minutes.
- 15. Wrap the seared meat in aluminum foil.
- 16. Let the meat rest in the foil for 5 minutes.
- 17. Carefully remove the baked apples from the oven.
- 18. Place the apples on the serving plates.
- 19. Slice the lamb fillets diagonally.
- 20. Place the meat slices on the plates next to the apples.
- 21. Serve the dish and enjoy your meal.
