🍽️ Salmon Bites with Honeydew Salsa

Ingredients
- Honeydew melon 200 g
- Shallots 1 pc
- Organic limes 1 pc
- Horseradish 1 tsp
- Salt pinch
- Pepper, black ground pinch
- Dill, fresh 15 g
- Salad mix 100 g
- Toast bread 8 slices
- Butter 2 tbsp
- Smoked salmon 200 g
Instructions
- 1. Cut the honeydew melon in half and remove the seeds.
- 2. Peel the melon and cut the flesh into small cubes.
- 3. Cut the shallot in half and peel it.
- 4. Finely chop the shallot.
- 5. Wash the lime thoroughly.
- 6. Grate about one teaspoon of lime zest.
- 7. Cut the lime in half.
- 8. Squeeze the juice from the lime.
- 9. Place the honeydew melon and shallots into a bowl.
- 10. Add horseradish, lime juice, and lime zest.
- 11. Mix the ingredients well.
- 12. Season the mixture with salt and pepper.
- 13. Wash the dill and pat it dry.
- 14. Pluck off the dill tips.
- 15. Separate the lettuce leaves.
- 16. Tear the lettuce leaves into small pieces.
- 17. Wash the lettuce leaves.
- 18. Dry the lettuce leaves thoroughly.
- 19. Cut the toast bread into round slices with a diameter of about five centimeters.
- 20. Lightly brush the bread slices with butter.
- 21. Top the slices with the lettuce leaves.
- 22. Place a slice of smoked salmon on top.
- 23. Add one teaspoon of honeydew salsa on top.
- 24. Garnish the bites with the dill tips.
