🍽️ Steamed Salmon with Potatoes, Green Beans, and Fresh Dill Sauce

Ingredients
- Salmon fillet, frozen 400 g
- Potatoes, waxy 800 g
- Water 800 g
- Salt 1 tsp
- Green beans 500 g
- Lemons 1 pc.
- Pepper, black ground pinch
- Dill, fresh 20 g
- Cream cheese, plain 200 g
Instructions
- 1. Ideally, thaw the salmon fillet overnight in the refrigerator.
- 2. Peel the potatoes and wash them thoroughly.
- 3. Cut the potatoes into halves or quarters, depending on their size.
- 4. Place the potatoes into the cooking insert.
- 5. Hang the cooking insert with the potatoes into the mixing bowl.
- 6. Add water and 1 teaspoon of salt to the mixing bowl.
- 7. Steam the potatoes for 10 minutes on the steam cooking setting.
- 8. Wash the green beans thoroughly in the meantime.
- 9. Place the washed green beans into the deep steam cooking basket.
- 10. Cut the lemon in half and squeeze out the juice.
- 11. Rinse the salmon fillet and pat it dry with a kitchen towel.
- 12. Season the salmon with salt, pepper, and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice.
- 13. Place the seasoned salmon into the shallow steam cooking basket.
- 14. Place the steam cooking baskets with the beans and salmon onto the mixing bowl.
- 15. Close the steam cooker securely.
- 16. Steam the dish for another 20 minutes on the steam cooking setting.
- 17. Wash the dill in the meantime.
- 18. Shake the dill dry.
- 19. Remove the thick stems from the dill.
- 20. Finely chop the dill.
- 21. Remove the steam cooking baskets after the cooking time is finished.
- 22. Set the steam cooking baskets aside, keeping them closed to keep the food warm.
- 23. Remove the cooking insert containing the potatoes.
- 24. Keep the potatoes warm.
- 25. Empty the mixing bowl.
- 26. Collect 150 milliliters of the cooking liquid in the process.
- 27. Add cream cheese, the collected cooking liquid, the chopped dill, and a little lemon juice to the mixing bowl.
- 28. Cook the sauce for 5 minutes at 100 degrees Celsius on setting 2.
- 29. Season the sauce to taste with salt and pepper.
- 30. Plate the salmon.
- 31. Serve the warm potatoes and green beans alongside the salmon fillets.
- 32. Serve with the dill sauce and enjoy your meal.
