🍳 Salmon Bagel with Avocado

Ingredients
- Smoked salmon 8 slices
- Lemons 2 pcs.
- Sugar 1 tbsp
- Onions, red 1 pcs.
- Avocado 2 pcs.
- Salt pinch
- Pepper, black ground pinch
- Bagel 4 pcs.
- Cress bed 1 pcs.
Instructions
- 1. Take the salmon out of the fridge and let it reach room temperature for a moment.
- 2. Cut the lemon in half and squeeze out the juice.
- 3. Stir 2 tablespoons of lemon juice with 1 tablespoon of sugar in a small bowl until the sugar is completely dissolved.
- 4. Cut the onion in half, peel it, and slice it into thin strips.
- 5. Place the onion strips in the lemon-sugar mixture and let them marinate briefly.
- 6. Cut the avocados in half and remove the pits.
- 7. Carefully scoop the flesh out of the skin with a spoon.
- 8. Place the avocado flesh in a medium bowl and mash it with a fork.
- 9. Add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice and season the mixture generously with salt and pepper.
- 10. Slice the bagels in half and toast them lightly in a toaster if you like.
- 11. Spread the avocado cream generously over the cut sides of the bagels.
- 12. Place the salmon slices generously on the avocado-spread bottom half.
- 13. Take the marinated onions out of the liquid and place them on top of the salmon.
- 14. Trim the cress and scatter it over the salmon.
- 15. Cover the bagel with the top half and serve immediately.
