  1. 1. Cut the pumpkin in half.
  2. 2. Scrape out the inside with a spoon.
  3. 3. Separate the flesh from the seeds.
  4. 4. Place the seeds in a bowl.
  5. 5. Cover them with water.
  6. 6. Let them soak for about 8 hours.
  7. 7. Preheat the oven to 160 degrees Celsius with fan.
  8. 8. Drain the seeds in a sieve.
  9. 9. Remove any remaining flesh.
  10. 10. Pat the seeds dry.
  11. 11. Put the seeds back into a bowl.
  12. 12. Add one tablespoon of oil.
  13. 13. Season with paprika powder.
  14. 14. Add chili.
  15. 15. Salt to taste.
  16. 16. Mix everything well.
  17. 17. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
  18. 18. Spread the seeds out on it.
  19. 19. Bake them for about 20 minutes until crunchy.
  20. 20. Let them cool down in the oven.
  21. 21. Serve them as a snack.
