  8. 8. Wash the apples thoroughly.
  9. 9. Cut the apples into quarters.
  10. 10. Remove the core from the apple pieces.
  11. 11. Dice the apple pieces as well.
  12. 12. Rinse the turkey breast under cold water.
  13. 13. Pat the meat dry with a kitchen towel.
  14. 14. Cut the turkey breast into bite-sized pieces.
  15. 15. Heat two tablespoons of oil in a large pot over high heat.
  16. 16. Sear the turkey pieces for about four minutes.
  17. 17. Remove the meat from the pot and set it aside.
  18. 18. Season the turkey meat with salt, pepper, and cumin.
  19. 19. Add another two tablespoons of oil to the same pot.

  27. 27. Pour about 700 milliliters of salted water over it.

  29. 29. Cook the rice covered on medium heat for about ten minutes.
  30. 30. Rinse the lemon under running water.
  31. 31. Cut the lemon in half.
  32. 32. Squeeze the juice from the lemon.
  33. 33. Coarsely chop the pumpkin seeds.
  34. 34. Add the chopped seeds to the stew.
  35. 35. Finish the stew with lemon juice and additional spices to taste.
  36. 36. Serve the stew together with the rice on plates.
