  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius with fan.
  2. 2. Grate the marzipan coarsely into a bowl.
  3. 3. Add 125 grams of butter, sugar, and salt.
  4. 4. Beat the mixture with a hand mixer and whisk until very creamy.
  5. 5. Stir in the eggs one by one.
  6. 6. Mix flour and baking powder in a separate bowl.
  7. 7. Briefly fold the flour mixture into the batter using some milk.
  8. 8. Pour the batter into a greased rectangular loaf pan.
  9. 9. Smooth the surface of the batter.
  10. 10. Bake the cake for about 60 minutes.
  11. 11. Loosely cover the cake with aluminum foil at the end of the baking time if it is getting too dark.
  12. 12. Let the cake cool on a wire rack.
  13. 13. Turn the cake out of the pan.
  14. 14. Beat 150 grams of butter in a bowl until creamy.
  15. 15. Sift 150 grams of powdered sugar in gradually.
  16. 16. Spread the butter icing evenly over the cake.
  17. 17. Place the cake in the refrigerator for about 1 hour.
  18. 18. Cut out a neck from the cake using a cup.
  19. 19. Cut out legs at the bottom of the cake.
  20. 20. Cut out sleeves from the top corners.
  21. 21. Sprinkle the cake with sugar pearls.
  22. 22. Serve the cake.
