🍰 Crispy Pear Pockets

Ingredients
- Pears 2 pcs.
- Brown sugar 10 g
- Raisins 40 g
- Cinnamon 1 tsp
- Vanilla sugar 0.5 packet
- Pear juice 80 ml
- Vanilla pudding powder 10 g
- Puff pastry 1 pcs.
- Soy drink 20 ml
- Sugar 4 tbsp
- Icing sugar 2 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 2. Line a baking sheet with baking paper.
- 3. Wash the pears thoroughly.
- 4. Remove the stem and the core.
- 5. Cut the flesh into cubes of about 1 cm.
- 6. Place the pear cubes in a bowl.
- 7. Add brown sugar, raisins, cinnamon, and vanilla sugar.
- 8. Mix the ingredients well together.
- 9. Pour the pear juice and vanilla pudding powder into a pot.
- 10. Stir the mixture well.
- 11. Bring the mixture to a boil.
- 12. Stir the prepared pear filling into the boiling liquid.
- 13. Let the filling cool down.
- 14. Divide the puff pastry on the baking sheet into 8 rectangles.
- 15. Distribute the cooled pear filling onto the dough surfaces.
- 16. Cover only one half of each rectangle with the filling.
- 17. Fold the empty dough side over the filling.
- 18. Press the edges firmly with a fork.
- 19. Brush the pockets with a brush using soy drink.
- 20. Sprinkle some sugar over them.
- 21. Prick the pockets several times with a fork.
- 22. Bake the pockets in the oven for about 12 minutes until golden brown.
- 23. Take the pastry out of the oven.
- 24. Let it cool down briefly.
- 25. Sift powdered sugar over them.
- 26. Serve the pockets and enjoy!
