🍽️ Herb Chicken with Gnocchi and Tomato Sauce

Ingredients
- chicken breast fillets 800 g
- basil, fresh 40 g
- rosemary, fresh 20 g
- salt 1 tsp
- pepper, black ground 1 tsp
- onions, yellow 40 g
- garlic cloves 1 pc.
- olive oil 10 ml
- cherry tomatoes 500 g
- vegetable broth 250 ml
- tomato paste 40 g
- gnocchi, fresh 600 g
Instructions
- 1. Pat the chicken breast fillets dry with a kitchen towel.
- 2. Wash the herb stems and shake them dry.
- 3. Pluck the basil leaves and rosemary needles from the stems.
- 4. Place the herbs into the mixing container.
- 5. Insert the measuring cup and chop the herbs using the Turbo button for 2 seconds.
- 6. Use a spatula to push the herbs down from the inner wall.
- 7. Repeat the chopping process if necessary.
- 8. Transfer the chopped herbs onto a plate.
- 9. Season the chicken fillets with half a teaspoon of salt and half a teaspoon of pepper.
- 10. Roll the fillets in the herbs until they are completely covered.
- 11. Place the seasoned chicken fillets into the deep steam cooking pot.
- 12. Peel the onions and garlic.
- 13. Halve or quarter the onions depending on their size.
- 14. Place the onions and garlic into the mixing container.
- 15. Chop the vegetables using the measuring cup and Turbo button for 2 seconds.
- 16. Use a spatula to push the vegetables down from the wall.
- 17. Add the olive oil.
- 18. Sauté the vegetables without the measuring cup using the Sauté button for 2 minutes.
- 19. Wash the cherry tomatoes and let them drain.
- 20. Place the tomatoes into the mixing container.
- 21. Chop the tomatoes using the measuring cup for 10 seconds on level 8.
- 22. Use a spatula to push the tomato mixture down from the wall.
- 23. Add the room-temperature vegetable broth.
- 24. Add the tomato paste.
- 25. Season the sauce with half a teaspoon of salt and half a teaspoon of pepper.
- 26. Distribute the gnocchi in the shallow steam cooking insert.
- 27. Hang the shallow insert into the deep steam cooking pot.
- 28. Place the steam cooking pot onto the mixing container.
- 29. Close the device.
- 30. Cook everything for 20 minutes on level 2 at 120 degrees Celsius.
- 31. Remove the shallow steam cooking insert after the cooking time.
- 32. Check if the meat is fully cooked.
- 33. Extend the cooking time by a few minutes if necessary.
- 34. Remove the steam cooking pot after the cooking time ends.
- 35. Set the pot aside with the lid on.
- 36. Reduce the tomato sauce without the measuring cup for 2 minutes on level 2 at 120 degrees Celsius.
- 37. Place the cooking insert on the lid opening as a splash guard.
- 38. Puree the sauce using the measuring cup for 30 seconds on level 8.
- 39. Taste the sauce and adjust with salt and pepper.
- 40. Stir the sauce using the measuring cup for 30 seconds on level 2.
- 41. Serve the herb chicken with the gnocchi and the sauce.
