  1. 1. Mix the sugar with the cold butter, flour, a pinch of salt, and the vanilla extract until you have a smooth dough.
  2. 2. Add half of the colorful sugar sprinkles to the dough and knead them in briefly.
  3. 3. Cover the dough and place it in the refrigerator for about one hour.
  4. 4. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
  5. 5. Line a baking tray with baking paper and place a baking frame on it.
  6. 6. Place the dough into the baking frame.
  7. 7. Roll the dough evenly into a rectangle.
  8. 8. Carefully remove the baking frame.
  9. 9. Cut the dough into equal-sized squares using a dough scraper.
  10. 10. Pull the dough squares slightly apart so they have some space between them.
  11. 11. Bake the cookies in the preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat for about 15 to 20 minutes.
  12. 12. Take the cookies out of the oven and let them cool down completely.
  13. 13. Mix the lemon juice with the powdered sugar to create a thick glaze.
  14. 14. Place the cooled cookies closely together on a surface.
