Ingredients
- sugar 100 g
- butter 200 g
- wheat flour, Type 405 300 g
- salt pinch
- vanilla extract 1 tsp
- sugar sprinkles 6 tbsp
- lemon juice 1 tbsp
- powdered sugar 100 g
Instructions
- 1. Mix the sugar with the cold butter, flour, a pinch of salt, and the vanilla extract until you have a smooth dough.
- 2. Add half of the colorful sugar sprinkles to the dough and knead them in briefly.
- 3. Cover the dough and place it in the refrigerator for about one hour.
- 4. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 5. Line a baking tray with baking paper and place a baking frame on it.
- 6. Place the dough into the baking frame.
- 7. Roll the dough evenly into a rectangle.
- 8. Carefully remove the baking frame.
- 9. Cut the dough into equal-sized squares using a dough scraper.
- 10. Pull the dough squares slightly apart so they have some space between them.
- 11. Bake the cookies in the preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat for about 15 to 20 minutes.
- 12. Take the cookies out of the oven and let them cool down completely.
- 13. Mix the lemon juice with the powdered sugar to create a thick glaze.
- 14. Place the cooled cookies closely together on a surface.
- 15. Brush the cookies with the glaze.
- 16. Sprinkle the remaining colorful sugar sprinkles over them.
- 17. Let the glaze dry before serving.
