Ingredients
- eggs 4 pcs
- butter 50 g
- condensed milk, sweetened 400 ml
- baking powder 1 tsp
- wheat flour, Type 405 150 g
- whipping cream 400 ml
- apricot jam 4 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 2. Separate the eggs and set the egg whites aside for another use.
- 3. Melt the butter in a pot over medium heat.
- 4. Add the melted butter, 350 grams of sweetened condensed milk, the egg yolks, baking powder, and flour to a large bowl.
- 5. Mix the ingredients with a hand mixer and a whisk until the batter is smooth and lump-free.
- 6. Grease a springform pan with some fat and dust it lightly with flour.
- 7. Pour the batter evenly into the prepared pan.
- 8. Bake the cake in the preheated oven for about 40 minutes, until it is golden brown.
- 9. Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool completely.
- 10. Whip the cream in a tall container with the hand mixer until stiff.
- 11. Stir the apricot jam into the stiffly whipped cream.
- 12. Spread the cream mixture evenly over the cooled cake base.
- 13. Place the cake in the refrigerator for about one hour.
- 14. Pour the remaining condensed milk evenly over the cold cream.
- 15. Garnish the cake with fresh berries if desired and serve.
