🍽️ Greek Zucchini Patties from the Contact Grill

Ingredients
- Zucchini 500 g
- Feta 150 g
- Wheat flour, Type 405 65 g
- Eggs 2 pcs
- Onions, yellow 1 pc
- Oil 4 tbsp
- Mint, fresh 10 g
- Dill, fresh 10 g
- Parsley, fresh 20 g
- Salt 1 tsp
- Pepper, black ground pinch
Instructions
- 1. Coarsely grate the zucchini.
- 2. Generously sprinkle the grated zucchini with salt.
- 3. Let the salted zucchini stand for at least 10 minutes.
- 4. Peel the onion and dice it finely.
- 5. Finely chop the mint, dill, and parsley.
- 6. Crumble the feta cheese into small pieces.
- 7. Squeeze the zucchini using your hands or a thin kitchen towel.
- 8. Remove all the pressed-out liquid.
- 9. Add the zucchini, onion, herbs, and feta to a bowl.
- 10. Season the mixture with salt and pepper.
- 11. Crack the eggs into the bowl.
- 12. Mix all ingredients thoroughly together.
- 13. Fold in the flour at the end.
- 14. Preheat the contact grill.
- 15. Brush the grill surfaces generously with oil.
- 16. Place spoonfuls of the zucchini mixture into the hot grill.
- 17. Fry the patties on both sides over medium heat.
- 18. Fry each side for 2 to 3 minutes until golden brown.
- 19. Ensure the oil does not get too hot.
- 20. Let the finished patties drain briefly on kitchen paper.
- 21. Then serve the patties.
