🍰 Crunchy Coconut Macaroons with Chocolate Glaze

Ingredients
- eggs 4 pcs
- powdered sugar 200 g
- vanilla sugar 2 tsp
- salt pinch
- shredded coconut 250 g
- couverture, dark chocolate 100 g
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 160 degrees Celsius.
- 2. Separate the eggs and save the yolks for another use.
- 3. Whip the egg whites together with powdered sugar, vanilla sugar, and a pinch of salt for three minutes on speed four until stiff.
- 4. Gently fold in the coconut flakes for ten seconds on speed one.
- 5. Shape small mounds using two teaspoons and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- 6. Bake the macaroons in the oven for about 30 to 35 minutes.
- 7. Remove the tray and let the macaroons cool down completely.
- 8. Chop the chocolate coating into pieces for 15 seconds on speed eight.
- 9. Melt the chocolate pieces for six minutes on speed one at 50 degrees Celsius.
- 10. Dip the cooled macaroons into the melted chocolate and let them set.
