  1. 1. In a pan over medium heat, toast hazelnuts for approx. 2 minutes without fat. Then let them cool slightly on a plate.
  2. 2. In a tall container or food processor, process dates, oat flakes, hazelnuts, and cinnamon into a sticky, fine-crumb mixture. If necessary, add 1–2 tbsp cold water.
  3. 3. Then take small portions with a teaspoon and roll them into balls between your hands. Roll these in coconut flakes. Store the coconut energy balls in a container until serving. Enjoy your meal!
