🍽️ Meatballs with Grilled Peppers and Creamy White Bean Puree

Ingredients
- onions, red 2 pcs.
- parsley, fresh 20 g
- Raz el Hanout spice 1 tsp
- ground beef 600 g
- olive oil 2 tbsp
- salt pinch
- bell peppers 4 pcs.
- garlic cloves 1 pc.
- sugar pinch
- white beans in can 800 g
- milk 100 ml
- pepper, black ground pinch
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius with fan setting.
- 2. Cut the onions in half and peel off the skin.
- 3. Dice the onions into small pieces.
- 4. Wash the parsley thoroughly.
- 5. Dry the parsley with a kitchen towel.
- 6. Pluck the parsley leaves off the stems.
- 7. Finely chop the parsley leaves.
- 8. Place the diced onions into a large bowl.
- 9. Add the chopped parsley to the bowl.
- 10. Add the Ras el Hanout spice mix to the bowl.
- 11. Add the minced meat to the bowl.
- 12. Add one tablespoon of olive oil to the bowl.
- 13. Add some salt to the bowl.
- 14. Mix all ingredients in the bowl thoroughly.
- 15. Shape the meat mixture into evenly sized rolls.
- 16. Place the meat rolls into a baking dish.
- 17. Bake the meat rolls in the oven for about 20 minutes.
- 18. Wash the pointed peppers.
- 19. Cut the pointed peppers lengthwise.
- 20. Remove the stem and seeds from the pepper.
- 21. Lightly salt the peppers.
- 22. Place the peppers skin-side up on top of the meat rolls.
- 23. Let the peppers cook along with the meat for the remaining baking time.
- 24. Cut the garlic in half.
- 25. Peel the garlic.
- 26. Roughly chop the garlic.
- 27. Heat a frying pan over medium heat.
- 28. Add the garlic to the pan.
- 29. Add one tablespoon of olive oil to the pan.
- 30. Add sugar to the pan.
- 31. Fry the garlic for about 2 minutes.
- 32. Drain the beans into a sieve.
- 33. Place the fried garlic into a tall container.
- 34. Add the drained beans to the container.
- 35. Add the milk to the container.
- 36. Puree the mixture of garlic, beans, and milk.
- 37. Season the puree with salt.
- 38. Season the puree with pepper.
- 39. Take the meat rolls and peppers out of the oven.
- 40. Plate the meat rolls and peppers.
- 41. Serve the bean puree in small bowls alongside.
