🍽️ Crispy Fried Chicken

Ingredients
- chicken breast fillets 400 g
- chicken thighs 400 g
- garlic cloves 2 pcs.
- rapeseed oil 6 tbsp
- salt pinch
- Tabasco 1 tbsp
- wheat flour, Type 405 150 g
- paprika, sweet 2 tsp
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the chicken breast under running water.
- 2. Pat the meat completely dry with a kitchen towel.
- 3. Cut the breast into 6 to 8 equal pieces.
- 4. Also rinse the chicken drumsticks under running water.
- 5. Pat the drumsticks dry with a kitchen towel as well.
- 6. Peel the garlic clove.
- 7. Finely chop the garlic.
- 8. Put 6 tablespoons of oil into a bowl.
- 9. Add the chopped garlic to the bowl.
- 10. Season the marinade with salt.
- 11. Add a few drops of Tabasco sauce.
- 12. Mix the marinade ingredients well together.
- 13. Place the chicken pieces into the marinade.
- 14. Turn the meat so that it is completely covered.
- 15. Cover the bowl.
- 16. Place the bowl in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
- 17. Pour about 1 liter of rapeseed oil into a pot.
- 18. Heat the oil on the stove.
- 19. Hold a wooden spoon into the oil.
- 20. Wait until small bubbles form around the spoon.
- 21. Take a second bowl.
- 22. Put flour into this bowl.
- 23. Add paprika powder to the flour.
- 24. Season the flour mixture with salt.
- 25. Mix the flour and spices well.
- 26. Take the marinated chicken pieces out of the marinade.
- 27. Let excess marinade drip off for a moment.
- 28. Coat the chicken pieces in the flour mixture.
- 29. Press the coating on lightly.
- 30. Put the breaded chicken pieces into the hot oil in batches.
- 31. Fry the chicken until golden brown.
- 32. The frying time is about 10 to 15 minutes.
- 33. The time depends on the size of the pieces.
- 34. Take the finished chicken out of the oil.
- 35. Place the pieces on kitchen paper.
- 36. Let the excess oil drip off.
- 37. Serve the crispy chicken.
