🍽️ Crispy Turkey Strips with Mango Dip

Ingredients
- Shallots 1 pc.
- Mango 1 pc.
- Crème fraîche 200 g
- Mayonnaise 50 g
- Curry powder 1 tsp
- Salt pinch
- Cayenne pepper pinch
- Turkey mini-steaks 600 g
- Bell pepper, sweet 0.5 tsp
- Eggs 2 pc.
- Cornflakes 150 g
- Wheat flour, Type 405 2 tbsp
- Frying oil 100 ml
Instructions
- 1. Halve the shallot and remove the skin.
- 2. Finely dice the shallot.
- 3. Peel the mango and cut the flesh away from the pit.
- 4. Cut the mango into small cubes.
- 5. Take half of the mango cubes and puree them with the crème fraîche in a tall container.
- 6. Stir in the remaining mango cubes and the finely diced shallot into the puree mixture.
- 7. Mix the mayonnaise into the dip mixture.
- 8. Season the dip with curry, salt, and cayenne pepper.
- 9. Pat the turkey meat dry with a kitchen towel.
- 10. Cut the turkey meat into strips.
- 11. Season the turkey strips with salt, cayenne pepper, and paprika.
- 12. Beat the eggs in a shallow bowl.
- 13. Roughly crush the cornflakes in another bowl.
- 14. Place the flour in a third shallow bowl.
- 15. Coat the turkey strips in the flour first.
- 16. Dip the floured strips into the beaten egg next.
- 17. Finally, coat the egg-dipped strips in the crushed cornflakes.
- 18. Gently press the coating onto the strips.
- 19. Heat the oil in a pan over high heat.
- 20. Fry the turkey strips for about 5 minutes until golden brown.
- 21. Let the fried strips drain on kitchen paper.
- 22. Serve the crispy turkey strips with the mango dip.
