🍕 Crispy Pizza with Ham, Mozzarella and Herb Gremolata

Ingredients
- garlic cloves 1 pc.
- shallots 2 pc.
- vine tomatoes 2 pc.
- lemons 1 pc.
- parsley, fresh 20 g
- chives, fresh 10 g
- mozzarella 125 g
- oil 1 tbsp
- tomato paste 4 tbsp
- salt pinch
- pepper, black ground pinch
- sugar pinch
- honey 1 tsp
- pizza dough with tomato sauce 1 pc.
- olive oil 5 tbsp
- Serrano ham 100 g
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius with fan.
- 2. Peel the garlic and chop it finely.
- 3. Halve the shallots, peel them, and cut them into wedges.
- 4. Wash the tomatoes, halve them, remove the core, and cut them into small cubes.
- 5. Wash the lemon, pat it dry, and grate about 1 teaspoon of zest.
- 6. Halve the lemon and squeeze out the juice.
- 7. Wash the parsley and chives and let them dry.
- 8. Cut the chives into fine rings.
- 9. Finely chop the parsley leaves.
- 10. Drain the mozzarella and cut it into coarse cubes.
- 11. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pot over medium heat.
- 12. Add half of the chopped garlic and sauté it for about 1 minute.
- 13. Add the tomato cubes and tomato paste.
- 14. Pour in 50 milliliters of water and let it simmer for about 5 minutes over medium heat.
- 15. Season the mixture with salt, pepper, and sugar.
- 16. Finish it with 1 teaspoon of honey.
- 17. Roll out the pizza dough with the baking paper.
- 18. Place it on the baking tray.
- 19. Stretch it slightly to widen it.
- 20. Spread the tomato sauce evenly over it.
- 21. Top the pizza with the mozzarella cubes and shallots.
- 22. Bake it for about 15–20 minutes in the oven.
- 23. Mix the remaining chopped garlic with the herbs and 5 tablespoons of olive oil in a bowl.
- 24. Let it infuse.
- 25. Add the lemon zest and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice to the herb-garlic oil.
- 26. Take the pizza out of the oven.
- 27. Garnish it with ham.
- 28. Drizzle it with the herb gremolata.
- 29. Arrange the pieces on plates and serve.
