  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius with fan.
  2. 2. Take the butter for the garlic butter out of the fridge to let it soften.
  3. 3. Cut off the root end of the garlic bulb generously.
  4. 4. Drizzle some oil onto a piece of aluminum foil.
  5. 5. Wrap the garlic bulb tightly in the aluminum foil.
  6. 6. Place the foil with the garlic in the oven and bake for about 60 minutes until soft.
  7. 7. Wash the parsley under running water.
  8. 8. Shake the parsley dry.
  9. 9. Pluck the parsley leaves from the stems.
  10. 10. Finely chop the parsley leaves.
  11. 11. Remove the garlic bulb from the oven after 50 minutes of baking time.
  12. 12. Remove the aluminum foil from the bulb.
  13. 13. Squeeze the soft garlic cloves out of the individual segments directly into the bowl with the soft butter.
  14. 14. Mix the butter and garlic thoroughly.
  15. 15. Stir the chopped parsley into the garlic butter.
  16. 16. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
  17. 17. Slice the baguette lengthwise.
  18. 18. Spread the garlic butter generously over the bread halves.
  19. 19. Place the bread in the oven.
  20. 20. Toast the bread for another 10 to 12 minutes until crispy and golden brown.
  21. 21. Take the finished garlic bread out of the oven.
  22. 22. Serve the bread immediately and enjoy.
