  1. 1. Remove the Parmesan from the rind and break it into small pieces.
  2. 2. Peel one clove of garlic and add it to the mixing container along with the cheese.
  3. 3. Insert the measuring cup and puree the ingredients for 15 seconds on speed 10.
  4. 4. Add herbs of Provence and half a teaspoon of salt.
  5. 5. Mix everything for another 15 seconds on speed 7.
  6. 6. Pour the finished herb salt into a different container.
  7. 7. Add cold buttermilk and cut-up butter to the mixing container.
  8. 8. Warm the mixture with the measuring cup inserted for 2 minutes on speed 2 at 55 degrees Celsius.
  9. 9. Add yeast, flour, sugar, and baking soda.
  10. 10. Process the ingredients using the dough knead function for 2 minutes until you have a smooth dough.
  11. 11. Transfer the sticky dough into a bowl.
  12. 12. Let the dough rest covered for about 30 minutes in a warm place.
  13. 13. Place the dough on a lightly floured work surface.
  14. 14. Divide the dough into 16 equal pieces.
  15. 15. Shape the pieces into uniform balls.
  16. 16. Place the balls close together on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  17. 17. Brush the balls with olive oil.
  18. 18. Sprinkle the balls with the prepared herb salt.
  19. 19. Let the balls rise on the baking sheet for another 15 minutes.
  20. 20. Preheat the oven to 170 degrees Celsius fan-forced.
  21. 21. Bake the garlic bubble bread for about 15 minutes until golden brown.
