  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 90 degrees Celsius with fan.
  2. 2. Separate the eggs and use the yolks for another purpose.
  3. 3. Whip the egg whites with powdered sugar and a hand mixer until stiff.
  4. 4. Fill the egg white mixture into a piping bag.
  5. 5. Pipe small mounds onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  6. 6. Form two small dots on the sides for the arms.
  7. 7. Dry the meringue ghosts in the oven for about 90 minutes.
  8. 8. Turn off the oven and let the ghosts cool down inside.
  9. 9. Bring water to a boil in a small pot.
  10. 10. Chop the chocolate coating.
  11. 11. Melt the chocolate coating in a bowl over the hot water bath.
  12. 12. Use a toothpick and the melted chocolate coating to paint faces on the ghosts.
  13. 13. Serve the little meringue ghosts immediately or store them airtight and dry.
