  1. 1. Peel the apple, cut it in half, and remove the core.
  2. 2. Halve the red cabbage, remove the hard stem, and cut the vegetable into coarse pieces.
  3. 3. Halve the onion and peel it.
  4. 4. Place the apple pieces in the mixing container and chop them for 4 seconds on speed 5.
  5. 5. Transfer the chopped apples into a bowl.
  6. 6. Place half of the cut red cabbage in the mixing container and chop it for 7 seconds on speed 5.
  7. 7. Transfer the chopped red cabbage to the bowl with the apples.
  8. 8. Repeat the chopping process with the remaining red cabbage and add it to the bowl as well.
  9. 9. Place the onion in the mixing container and chop it for 7 seconds on speed 5.
  10. 10. Use a spatula to push the onion pieces down from the inner wall of the container.
  11. 11. Add the oil and sauté the onions for 3 minutes on speed 2 at 120 degrees Celsius.
  12. 12. Add the chopped red cabbage along with the apple, juniper berries, vinegar, red wine, sugar, salt, cranberries, and a pinch of cinnamon to the mixing container.
  13. 13. Simmer the mixture for 60 minutes on speed 1 at 100 degrees Celsius.
  14. 14. Season the red cabbage with salt and sugar to taste after the cooking time is finished.
