  1. 1. Wash the potatoes thoroughly under running water.
  2. 2. Attach the steaming insert to the mixing bowl and place the potatoes inside.
  3. 3. Pour 900 grams of hot water into the bowl.
  4. 4. Steam the potatoes for 30 minutes on the steaming setting.
  5. 5. Remove the steaming insert from the mixing bowl.
  6. 6. Let the potatoes cool down slightly until you can handle them safely.
  7. 7. Peel the cooled potatoes.
  8. 8. Grate the peeled potatoes finely or press them into a fine mash.
  9. 9. Let the potato mixture cool down completely for about 60 minutes.
  10. 10. Place the cooled potato mixture, potato starch, fine semolina, 1 teaspoon of salt, 1 egg, and a pinch of nutmeg into the mixing bowl.
  11. 11. Mix all ingredients for 20 seconds on the dough kneading setting until you have a homogeneous dough.
  12. 12. Moisten your hands with a little water so the dough does not stick.
  13. 13. Shape about 8 equal-sized dumplings from the mixture.
  14. 14. Place the dumplings into the deep steaming insert.
  15. 15. If the dough is too soft, knead in a little more flour until it is firm enough.
  16. 16. Fill 800 grams of hot water into the mixing bowl.
  17. 17. Place the deep steaming insert with the dumplings onto the bowl.
  18. 18. Close the steamer lid.
  19. 19. Steam the dumplings for 30 minutes on the steaming setting.
  20. 20. Remove the finished dumplings and serve them hot.
