🍽️ Classic Beef Stroganoff

Ingredients
- onions, yellow 2 pcs
- mushrooms, white 400 g
- pickles 6 pcs
- minute steaks from beef 600 g
- oil 3 tbsp
- wheat flour, Type 405 2 tbsp
- beef broth 200 ml
- sour cream 400 g
- lemons 1 pcs
- parsley, fresh 10 g
- salt pinch
- pepper, black ground pinch
- mustard 1 tsp
Instructions
- 1. Peel the onions and cut them in half.
- 2. Cut the onion halves into thin strips.
- 3. Wipe the mushrooms clean with a kitchen towel.
- 4. Slice the mushrooms into thin pieces.
- 5. Drain the gherkins.
- 6. Dice the gherkins into small pieces.
- 7. Rinse the beef under running water.
- 8. Pat the meat dry with kitchen paper.
- 9. Cut the beef into strips.
- 10. Lightly salt the meat strips.
- 11. Heat two tablespoons of oil in a pot over high heat.
- 12. Fry the beef for about two minutes on all sides.
- 13. Remove the fried meat from the pot and set it aside.
- 14. Add one tablespoon of oil to the same pot.
- 15. Fry the onion strips and mushrooms for about three minutes.
- 16. Dust the vegetables with flour.
- 17. Stir the flour in for about one minute until it is lightly toasted.
- 18. Pour the broth into the pot.
- 19. Stir the sour cream into the mixture.
- 20. Bring the sauce to a boil.
- 21. Cut a lemon in half.
- 22. Squeeze the juice from the lemon.
- 23. Wash the parsley under cold water.
- 24. Dry the parsley thoroughly.
- 25. Pluck the parsley leaves from the stems.
- 26. Finely chop the parsley leaves.
- 27. Add mustard, salt, pepper, and lemon juice to the sauce.
- 28. Season the sauce to taste with the spices.
- 29. Add the diced gherkins to the sauce.
- 30. Add the prepared beef strips to the sauce.
- 31. Serve the Stroganoff on plates.
- 32. Add a dollop of sour cream as a garnish.
- 33. Sprinkle the chopped parsley over the dish.
