🍽️ Classic Rice Salad

Ingredients
- Long-grain rice 300 g
- Peas, frozen 200 g
- Corn from the can 100 g
- Pepper, red 1 pc.
- Pepper, green 1 pc.
- Spring onions 0.5 bunch
- Oil 2 tbsp
- Vinegar 1 tbsp
- Mustard 1 tsp
- Salt pinch
- Pepper, black ground pinch
Instructions
- 1. In a pot, bring rice to a boil with about 700 ml of salted water and cover. Cook on medium heat for about 13 minutes. After about 8 minutes, add the peas and cook them together until done.
- 2. Drain the corn in a sieve and let it drip. Wash the bell pepper, cut it in half, remove the seeds and stem, then dice it. Clean the spring onions, dry them, trim the roots, and slice them into thin rings.
- 3. In a bowl, whisk together oil, vinegar, mustard, salt, and pepper to create a dressing. Add the rice, peas, corn, and bell pepper, and mix well. Adjust seasoning to taste and refrigerate the classic rice salad until serving.
