🍰 Classic Plum Cake with Cinnamon

Ingredients
- Peaches 1 kg
- Eggs 1 pc.
- Quark 40 % fat in dry matter 150 g
- Milk 50 ml
- Oil 50 ml
- Wheat flour, Type 405 450 g
- Sugar 100 g
- Salt pinch
- Baking powder 1 packet
- Butter 50 g
- Cinnamon 1 tsp
- Icing sugar 2 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 2. Wash the plums thoroughly.
- 3. Cut the plums in half and remove the pits.
- 4. Line a 28-centimeter springform pan with baking paper.
- 5. Grease the sides of the pan.
- 6. Place the egg, quark (curd cheese), milk, and oil into a mixing bowl.
- 7. Mix these ingredients for 15 seconds on the kneading setting.
- 8. Add 300 grams of flour, 50 grams of sugar, a pinch of salt, and baking powder.
- 9. Knead the dough for 2 minutes on the kneading setting.
- 10. Transfer the dough into the prepared pan.
- 11. Spread the dough so that the bottom is completely covered.
- 12. Place soft butter, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, 50 grams of sugar, and 150 grams of flour into the mixing bowl.
- 13. Crumb the ingredients for 1 minute on the dough kneading setting.
- 14. Place the crumble topping in a cool spot.
- 15. Arrange the plum halves on the dough.
- 16. Sprinkle the crumble topping over the plums.
- 17. Bake the cake in the oven for about 60 minutes.
- 18. Carefully remove the cake from the oven.
- 19. Let the cake cool down in the pan.
- 20. Dust the cake with powdered sugar.
- 21. Serve the cake.
