🍲 Classic Farmer's Stew

Ingredients
- onions, yellow 1 pc.
- potatoes, mostly waxy 500 g
- carrots with greens 300 g
- pepper, red 1 pc.
- parsley, fresh 10 g
- oil 2 tbsp
- minced meat, mixed 400 g
- salt pinch
- pepper, black ground pinch
- paprika, sweet pinch
- marjoram, dried pinch
- tomato paste 2 tbsp
- tomatoes, chopped 400 g
- vegetable broth 300 ml
- sour cream 200 g
Instructions
- 1. Halve the onions and peel them. Cut the onions into small cubes.
- 2. Peel the potatoes and carrots. Rinse the vegetables under running water. Cut the potatoes and carrots into cubes.
- 3. Wash the peppers. Cut them in half. Remove the stem and seeds. Cut the peppers into cubes as well.
- 4. Wash the parsley thoroughly. Shake it dry. Pluck the leaves from the stems. Finely chop the parsley leaves.
- 5. Heat the oil in a pot over high heat.
- 6. Fry the minced meat for about 3 minutes.
- 7. Season the meat with salt, pepper, paprika powder, and marjoram.
- 8. Add the onions, carrots, and peppers to the pot. Fry the vegetables with the meat for about 2 minutes.
- 9. Stir in the tomato paste. Roast it briefly with the mixture.
- 10. Deglaze the mixture with the chopped tomatoes and vegetable broth.
- 11. Add the potatoes to the pot. Cover the pot. Let the stew simmer over medium heat for about 25 minutes.
- 12. Stir the sour cream into the stew.
- 13. Adjust the seasoning of the stew to taste if necessary.
- 14. Serve the stew on plates.
- 15. Garnish the stew with the chopped parsley.
