🍰 Classic Pecan Cinnamon Roll

Ingredients
- Pecan nuts 200 g
- Cinnamon 1 tsp
- Sugar 80 g
- Milk 150 ml
- Puff pastry 1 pc.
- Icing sugar 100 g
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 2. Roughly chop the pecans.
- 3. Mix the chopped nuts with cinnamon and sugar in a bowl.
- 4. Gently warm the milk in a pot over low heat.
- 5. Stir the warm milk into the nut, cinnamon, and sugar mixture.
- 6. Roll out the puff pastry.
- 7. Spread the nut mixture evenly over the dough, leaving the edges bare.
- 8. Roll the dough up tightly lengthwise.
- 9. Shape the roll into a spiral and place it in a greased springform pan.
- 10. Bake the roll in the oven for about 25 minutes until crispy.
- 11. Whisk powdered sugar and 50 milliliters of water in a bowl to make a glaze.
- 12. Brush the warm pecan roll with the glaze.
- 13. Serve the roll and enjoy.
