  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 160 degrees Celsius with fan.
  2. 2. Take the cabbage rolls out of the freezer to let them thaw.
  3. 3. Halve an onion and peel it.
  4. 4. Dice the onion finely.
  5. 5. Peel a clove of garlic.
  6. 6. Chop the garlic coarsely.
  7. 7. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a casserole dish on high heat.
  8. 8. Fry the cabbage rolls in it on all sides for about 3 to 4 minutes until golden brown.
  9. 9. Remove the rolls from the casserole dish and place them on a plate.
  10. 10. Leave the casserole dish unwashed.
  11. 11. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in the same casserole dish on medium heat.
  12. 12. Add the diced onion and the chopped garlic.
  13. 13. Sauté the vegetables while stirring for about 2 minutes.
  14. 14. Add tomato paste and fry it for about 1 minute.
  15. 15. Add chopped tomatoes and beef broth to the casserole dish.
  16. 16. Season the sauce with paprika powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  17. 17. Place the cabbage rolls into the sauce.
  18. 18. Close the lid of the casserole dish.
  19. 19. Put the casserole dish in the oven for about 30 minutes.
  20. 20. Remove the lid for the last 10 minutes.
  21. 21. Wash fresh parsley.
  22. 22. Shake the parsley dry.
  23. 23. Remove the coarse stems from the parsley.
  24. 24. Chop the parsley finely.
  25. 25. Take the cabbage rolls out of the oven.
  26. 26. Plate the rolls.
  27. 27. Add some tomato sauce.
  28. 28. Sprinkle the dishes with the chopped parsley.
  29. 29. Serve the cabbage rolls hot.
