Ingredients
- rolls 1 pc.
- onions, yellow 1 pc.
- oil 4 tbsp.
- minced meat, mixed 600 g
- mustard 1 tsp.
- eggs 1 pc.
- salt pinch
- pepper, black ground pinch
- breadcrumbs 2 tbsp.
Instructions
- 1. Soak a bread roll in warm water.
- 2. Halve an onion and peel it.
- 3. Dice the onion into small cubes.
- 4. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan over medium heat.
- 5. Fry the onion cubes for about 3 to 4 minutes until translucent.
- 6. Squeeze the soaked bread roll well.
- 7. Add the minced meat, mustard, onion cubes, an egg, and the bread roll to a bowl.
- 8. Season the mixture with salt and pepper.
- 9. Mix all ingredients well together.
- 10. Add breadcrumbs if the mixture is too soft.
- 11. Shape 8 meatballs from the meat mixture.
- 12. Heat 3 tablespoons of oil in a pan over medium to high heat.
- 13. Fry the meatballs for about 3 minutes on both sides.
- 14. Cover the pan with a lid.
- 15. Reduce the heat.
- 16. Let the meatballs cook through for about 10 minutes.
- 17. Plate the meatballs.
- 18. Serve the meatballs hot.
