🍽️ Crunchy Bruschetta with Tomatoes

Ingredients
- Baguette 1 pc.
- Olive oil 6 tbsp.
- Cherry tomatoes 500 g
- Shallots 1 pc.
- Basil, fresh 20 g
- Light balsamic vinegar 1 tbsp.
- Sugar pinch
- Salt pinch
- Pepper, black ground pinch
- Garlic cloves 1 pc.
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius using top and bottom heat.
- 2. Slice the baguette into even slices.
- 3. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
- 4. Place the bread slices on the prepared tray.
- 5. Brush the slices generously with olive oil.
- 6. Bake the bread until crispy for about 10 minutes.
- 7. Wash the cherry tomatoes under running water.
- 8. Cut the tomatoes into small quarters.
- 9. Halve the shallot and peel it.
- 10. Dice the shallot into very small pieces.
- 11. Wash the fresh basil.
- 12. Shake the greens dry.
- 13. Pluck the basil leaves off the stems.
- 14. Chop the leaves coarsely.
- 15. Take the loaded bread slices out of the oven.
- 16. Put the tomatoes, shallot, and basil into a bowl.
- 17. Add the balsamic vinegar to the bowl.
- 18. Add two tablespoons of olive oil to the bowl.
- 19. Add the sugar to the bowl.
- 20. Mix all ingredients in the bowl well.
- 21. Season the mixture with salt.
- 22. Season the mixture with pepper.
- 23. Peel the garlic.
- 24. Rub the warm bread slice with the garlic clove.
- 25. Distribute the tomato mixture onto the slices.
- 26. Serve the finished bruschetta.
