🍰 Cherry Cake with Almond Crumble

Ingredients
- butter 250 g
- sugar 100 g
- salt pinch
- eggs 3 pcs.
- wheat flour, type 405 350 g
- baking powder 2 tsp
- cinnamon 0.25 tsp
- milk 100 ml
- sour cherries in a jar 500 g
- almonds, ground 80 g
- brown sugar 125 g
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 180 °C (convection). In a bowl, beat 150 g of butter with a hand mixer and the whisk until fluffy. Then add sugar, salt, and the eggs one after the other and mix well. Add 250 g of flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and milk, and stir briefly.
- 2. Put the dough into a greased springform pan. Let the cherries drain in a sieve and then distribute them evenly over the dough. Bake the cake in the oven for about 20 minutes.
- 3. Mix the almonds with 100 g of soft butter, cane sugar, and 100 g of flour in a bowl until a crumbly mass forms.
- 4. Distribute the crumble evenly over the cake and bake it for another 30 to 35 minutes. Let the cherry cake with almond crumble cool down and then serve it. Enjoy your meal!
