  1. 1. Wash the cherries thoroughly and remove the pits.
  2. 2. Break the chocolate into large pieces.
  3. 3. Place the cherries and chocolate pieces into the mixing container.
  4. 4. Insert the measuring cup and chop the ingredients for 15 seconds on speed 6.
  5. 5. Add the vanilla sugar and the jam-setting sugar.
  6. 6. Boil the mixture for 20 minutes on speed 2 at 100 degrees Celsius.
  7. 7. Drop one teaspoon of the jam onto a cold plate.
  8. 8. Wait about one minute and check if the jam sets.
  9. 9. If it is still liquid, cook it for another one to two minutes and repeat the test.
  10. 10. Fill the hot jam into four clean screw-top jars with a capacity of 250 milliliters each.
  11. 11. Seal the jars tightly.
  12. 12. Turn the jars upside down to let them cool on their lids.
