🍳 Sweet Cherry Jam

Ingredients
- cherries, fresh 1 kg
- vanilla sugar 1 packet
- jam sugar 500 g
Instructions
- 1. Wash the cherries thoroughly.
- 2. Pit the cherries.
- 3. Place the cherries, vanilla sugar, and pectin sugar into a pot.
- 4. Heat the mixture on medium heat until it boils.
- 5. Let the jam simmer for about 3 minutes.
- 6. Drop one teaspoon of the warm jam onto a cold plate.
- 7. Wait about 1 minute and check if the jam sets.
- 8. If it is still liquid, cook for another 1 to 2 minutes and repeat the test.
- 9. Fill the hot jam into four clean screw-top jars with a capacity of 250 milliliters each.
- 10. Seal the jars tightly.
- 11. Turn the jars upside down so they cool on their lids.
