  1. 1. Thoroughly wash the cherries under running water.
  2. 2. Remove the stems and pits from the cherries.
  3. 3. Peel the banana and cut it into large chunks.
  4. 4. Cut the lemon in half and squeeze out the juice.
  5. 5. Place the cherries, banana chunks, soy drink, and 2 tablespoons of lemon juice into a tall container.
  6. 6. Blend the mixture with a hand blender until it is completely smooth.
  7. 7. Adjust the taste to your liking by adding more soy drink or lemon juice if desired.
  8. 8. Wash the mint and shake off excess water.
  9. 9. Carefully pluck the mint leaves from the stems.
  10. 10. Pour the smoothie into four glasses.
  11. 11. Optionally place the glasses in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes until ready to serve.
  12. 12. Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of chia seeds over each smoothie before serving.
  13. 13. Garnish the glasses with the fresh mint leaves.
