🍽️ Kebab with Garlic Sauce

Ingredients
- garlic cloves 2 pcs.
- olive oil 4 tbsp.
- oregano, dried pinch
- salt pinch
- minute steaks from beef 600 g
- dill, fresh 20 g
- lemons 1 pcs.
- yogurt, plain 150 g
- pepper, black ground pinch
- vine tomatoes 2 pcs.
- mini romaine lettuce 1 pcs.
- salad cucumbers 0.5 pcs.
- onions, red 1 pcs.
- pita bread 4 pcs.
Instructions
- 1. Peel the garlic and chop finely. In a bowl, mix half of the chopped garlic with 2 tbsp. oil, oregano, and salt. Rinse the meat, pat dry, and toss in the marinade.
- 2. Wash the dill thoroughly, shake off excess water, remove thick stems, and chop finely. Wash the lemon, halve it, and squeeze out the juice. In a bowl, stir the remaining garlic and dill into the yogurt. Season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
- 3. Wash the tomatoes and slice them. Remove the core of the lettuce, cut the leaves into thin strips, wash, and drain. Peel the cucumber and onion and slice into thin slices or rings.
- 4. Heat 2 tbsp. oil in a pan over high heat and fry the meat for about 1–3 min. per side, depending on thickness. Then wrap in aluminum foil and let rest for approx. 5 min., then slice thinly.
- 5. Lightly moisten the pita breads and toast briefly in a toaster or in the oven.
- 6. Cut open the breads and fill with sauce, the prepared vegetables, and the meat as desired. Drizzle the remaining sauce over the top and serve. Enjoy your meal!
