🍽️ Crispy Potato-Pear Casserole with Bacon and Beans

Ingredients
- potatoes, mainly waxy 1 kg
- salt pinch
- green beans 500 g
- pears 1 pc.
- crème fraîche 100 g
- milk 100 ml
- eggs 3 pc.
- pepper, black ground pinch
- bacon 100 g
- Gouda, grated 200 g
Instructions
- 1. Preheat your oven to 200 degrees Celsius fan mode.
- 2. Wash the potatoes thoroughly and peel them.
- 3. Slice the potatoes into half-centimeter thick rounds.
- 4. Fill a pot with water, add salt, and bring it to a boil.
- 5. Add the potato slices to the boiling water.
- 6. Cook the potatoes over medium heat for ten minutes.
- 7. Rinse the beans under running water.
- 8. Trim the hard ends off the beans.
- 9. Add the prepared beans to the pot with the potatoes.
- 10. Cook the beans along with the potatoes for the last five minutes.
- 11. Drain the vegetables in a colander.
- 12. Let the vegetables drain well.
- 13. Wash the pear and cut it into quarters.
- 14. Remove the core from the pear pieces.
- 15. Slice the pears thinly.
- 16. Take a bowl and add crème fraîche, milk, eggs, salt, and pepper.
- 17. Mix the ingredients in the bowl thoroughly.
- 18. Heat a pan over high heat.
- 19. Fry the bacon slices until crispy for about three minutes.
- 20. Take a baking dish and spread half of the bacon evenly inside.
- 21. Layer half of the potatoes, beans, and pears on top of the bacon.
- 22. Pour half of the crème fraîche mixture over the vegetables.
- 23. Sprinkle half of the cheese over it.
- 24. Layer the remaining potatoes, beans, and pears on top.
- 25. Pour the remaining crème fraîche mixture over it.
- 26. Cover the top layer generously with the remaining cheese.
- 27. Place the baking dish in the oven for about 30 minutes.
- 28. Remove the finished casserole from the oven.
- 29. Serve the casserole on plates.
