Ingredients
- potatoes, mainly waxy 1 kg
- salt pinch
- carrots 5 pcs.
- onions, yellow 2 pcs.
- parsley, fresh 20 g
- oil 4 tbsp
- pepper, black ground pinch
- nutmeg, ground pinch
- whipping cream 200 ml
Instructions
- 1. Wash the potatoes, quarter them, and cut into pieces about 1 cm in size. In a pot, bring the potatoes covered with salted water to a boil and cook for about 10 minutes with the lid on.
- 2. Wash the carrots, peel them, and slice them thinly. Halve the onions, peel, and dice them finely. Rinse the parsley, dry it, pluck the leaves from the stems, and chop finely.
- 3. Drain the cooked potatoes in a sieve and let them drip. Heat the oil in a pan over high heat, then sauté the onions and carrots for about 2 minutes. Add the potatoes and fry for another 5 minutes until crispy.
- 4. Season the mixture with salt, pepper, and nutmeg, then deglaze with cream. Let it simmer for about 1 minute and adjust the seasoning if necessary. Serve on plates and garnish with parsley. Enjoy your meal!
