  3. 3. Place the potato cubes in a pot with salted water.
  4. 4. Bring the water to a boil and cook the potatoes over medium heat for about 20 minutes.
  5. 5. Check if the potatoes are soft, then drain them.
  6. 6. Let the potatoes drain for a short moment.
  7. 7. Press the warm potatoes through a potato ricer.
  8. 8. Alternatively, you can mash the potatoes with a masher.
  9. 9. Place the pressed potatoes into a bowl.
  10. 10. Add the Gouda cheese to the potato mixture.
  11. 11. Add the crème fraîche to the bowl.
  12. 12. Crack an egg and add it to the mixture.
  13. 13. Season the mixture with salt, pepper, and grated nutmeg.
  14. 14. Mix all ingredients well together.
  15. 15. Let the potato cheese mixture cool down.
  16. 16. Wash the zucchini thoroughly.
  17. 17. Slice the zucchini lengthwise into thin slices.
  18. 18. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  19. 19. Fry the zucchini slices for about 1 to 2 minutes.
