🍽️ Spicy Carrot Curry Bread

Ingredients
- Carrots 200 g
- Water 270 g
- Yeast, fresh 0.5 pcs
- Sugar 1 tsp
- Spelt flour, Type 630 650 g
- Salt 1 tsp
- Curry powder 2 tsp
- Oil 2 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. Wash the carrots thoroughly.
- 2. Remove the hard ends from the tips.
- 3. Cut the vegetable into rough chunks.
- 4. Put the carrot chunks into the mixing container.
- 5. Chop them for 8 seconds on speed 6.
- 6. Transfer the chopped carrots into a bowl.
- 7. Add water, yeast, and sugar to the empty mixing container.
- 8. Stir the mixture for 2 minutes on speed 2 at 37 degrees Celsius.
- 9. Add the prepared carrots to the dough.
- 10. Add flour, 1 teaspoon of salt, 2 teaspoons of curry powder, and oil.
- 11. Knead the dough for 2 minutes on the kneading setting.
- 12. Transfer the finished dough into a bowl.
- 13. Cover the bowl.
- 14. Let the dough rise in a warm place for about 60 minutes.
- 15. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius (top and bottom heat).
- 16. Grease a loaf pan well.
- 17. Fill the risen dough into the prepared pan.
- 18. Bake the bread for about 15 minutes at 220 degrees Celsius.
- 19. Reduce the oven temperature to 180 degrees Celsius.
- 20. Bake the bread for another 40 to 45 minutes.
- 21. Take the bread out of the oven.
- 22. Carefully release it from the pan.
- 23. Place it on a wire rack.
- 24. Let the bread cool down completely.
- 25. Slice it and serve it.
