🍽️ Creamy Cheese and Radish Salad with Roasted Walnuts

Ingredients
- Gouda, young, in a block 500 g
- Spring onions 0.5 bunch
- Radishes 1 bunch
- Parsley, fresh 20 g
- Dill, fresh 20 g
- Valerian salad 150 g
- Crème fraîche 150 g
- Mustard 1 tsp
- Oil 2 tbsp
- Vinegar 1 tbsp
- Salt pinch
- Pepper, black ground pinch
- Sugar pinch
- Walnut kernels 4 tbsp
- Rye bread 4 slices
Instructions
- 1. Remove the hard rind from the cheese and cut the inside into small cubes.
- 2. Rinse the spring onions, pat them dry, and cut off the hard root ends.
- 3. Slice the spring onions into thin rings.
- 4. Wash the radishes, trim the ends, and dice them as well.
- 5. Rinse the herbs, dry them, and remove any thick stems.
- 6. Finely chop the herbs.
- 7. Wash the lamb's lettuce and gently shake off the excess water.
- 8. Add the herbs, crème fraîche, mustard, oil, and vinegar to a bowl.
- 9. Mix the dressing ingredients well together.
- 10. Season the dressing with salt, pepper, and sugar to taste.
- 11. Preheat a frying pan over medium heat.
- 12. Roast the walnuts in the dry pan for about 2 minutes.
- 13. Coarsely chop the roasted walnuts.
- 14. Mix the diced cheese, spring onions, and radishes with the dressing.
- 15. Place the lamb's lettuce on the plates.
- 16. Distribute the cheese salad on top of the lamb's lettuce.
- 17. Sprinkle the chopped walnuts over the salad.
- 18. Serve the salad with fresh bread.
