  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius. Set the oven to top and bottom heat.
  2. 2. Place the cookies into a food processor or blender.
  3. 3. Crush the cookies for 8 seconds on high speed.
  4. 4. Pour the cookie crumbs into a separate bowl.
  5. 5. Place the butter into the empty mixing bowl.
  6. 6. Melt the butter for 2 minutes at 90 degrees Celsius on low speed.
  7. 7. Mix the melted butter thoroughly with the cookie crumbs.
  8. 8. Grease a springform pan with a little fat.
  9. 9. Press the cookie mixture firmly into the bottom of the pan to form a base.
  10. 10. Drain the mandarin oranges well in a sieve.
  11. 11. Add quark, mascarpone, eggs, cornstarch, baking powder, sugar, vanilla sugar, and a pinch of salt to the mixing bowl.
  12. 12. Blend the filling ingredients for 30 seconds on speed 4.
  13. 13. Add the drained mandarins to the mixture.
  14. 14. Mix the mandarins in for 10 seconds on low speed in reverse direction.
  15. 15. Pour the cheesecake mixture into the prepared pan.
  16. 16. Bake the cake in the oven for about 50 minutes.
  17. 17. Let the cake cool down for 1 hour inside the turned-off oven.
  18. 18. Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool completely.
  19. 19. Cut the cake into slices and serve.
