🍰 Steamed Cheesecake with Fresh Strawberry Sugar Garnish

Ingredients
- butter 1 tbsp
- strawberries, frozen 200 g
- sugar 200 g
- lemon 1 pc
- vanilla pod 1 pc
- curd cheese, low-fat 500 g
- curd cheese 40 % fat in total 100 g
- whipping cream 200 g
- eggs 2 pcs
- cornstarch 30 g
Instructions
- 1. Let the frozen strawberries thaw at room temperature.
- 2. Grease a baking pan generously with butter.
- 3. Put the sugar into the mixing container.
- 4. Pulverize the sugar using the measuring cup on the lid for 10 seconds on speed 8.
- 5. Repeat the grinding if necessary until the sugar is fine.
- 6. Pour the ground sugar into a separate bowl.
- 7. Wash the lemon under hot water and dry it.
- 8. Peel two strips of lemon zest, each about 4 cm long and 1 cm wide, using a vegetable peeler.
- 9. Add the lemon zest strips to the empty mixing container.
- 10. Grind the zest for 5 seconds on speed 8.
- 11. Halve the vanilla pod lengthwise.
- 12. Scrape out the pulp (seeds) from the pod.
- 13. Add 150 g of the prepared powdered sugar to the mixing container.
- 14. Add the vanilla pulp to the container as well.
- 15. Mix the ingredients using the measuring cup on the lid for 10 seconds.
- 16. Fill 1.5 liters of lukewarm water into the mixing container.
- 17. Place the deep steam cooking insert onto the appliance.
- 18. Place two wooden sticks or forks into the insert.
- 19. Place the baking pan on top of the sticks or forks.
- 20. Ensure the pan does not rest directly on the bottom and that the steam vents are free.
- 21. Place the steam cooking insert with the pan into the mixing container.
- 22. Close the lid of the appliance.
- 23. Start the steam cooking function for 1 hour.
- 24. Add another 10 minutes of steam cooking after the first hour is finished.
- 25. Let the cake cool down completely in the pan.
- 26. Store the cooled cake in the refrigerator until serving.
- 27. Rinse the mixing container thoroughly.
- 28. Put the thawed strawberries into the clean container.
- 29. Add the remaining powdered sugar to the strawberries.
- 30. Puree the mixture for 10 seconds on speed 9.
- 31. Add some lemon juice to the strawberry mixture.
- 32. Stir the sauce for 10 seconds on speed 2.
- 33. Spread the finished strawberry sauce evenly over the cheesecake.
- 34. Enjoy your cake.
