🍽️ Cheese Fondue with Mustard

Ingredients
- Gruyere cheese block 200 g
- Emmentaler cheese block 250 g
- Raclette cheese 200 g
- cornstarch 1 tsp
- kirsch 1 tbsp
- lemons 1 pc.
- garlic cloves 1 pc.
- dry white wine 100 ml
- grapes, dark 150 g
- grapes, light 150 g
- baguette 2 pc.
- mustard 1 tbsp
- sweet mustard 2 tbsp
- pepper, black ground pinch
- nutmeg, ground pinch
Instructions
- 1. Grate Gruyère, Emmental, and Raclette cheese coarsely. In a bowl, mix the starch with kirsch. Halve the lemon and squeeze out the juice. Halve the garlic. Wash the grapes. Cut the bread into cubes.
- 2. Rub the pot or fondue pot with the garlic. Heat over low to medium heat and melt the cheese with the wine. Stir in the kirsch-starch mixture and mustard into the melted cheese and let it simmer gently. Continue stirring until a creamy consistency is achieved.
- 3. Season the cheese fondue with pepper, nutmeg, and lemon juice. Keep the pot warm over a tea light or fondue burner. Serve the cheese fondue with grapes and bread.
