Ingredients
- cream cheese, plain 200 g
- sheep's cheese 200 g
- cranberries, dried 50 g
- salt sticks 80 g
- chives, fresh 20 g
- salt pinch
- pepper, black ground pinch
- pecan nuts 80 g
- almonds, chopped 80 g
Instructions
- 1. Crush 50 grams of saltine crackers into fine crumbs.
- 2. Finely chop the cranberries and the chives.
- 3. Mix the crushed ingredients with the feta cheese and cream cheese.
- 4. Season the mixture with a pinch of salt and a pinch of pepper.
- 5. Finely crush the pecans.
- 6. Mix the pecans with the chopped almonds.
- 7. Spread the nut mixture flat onto a plate.
- 8. Break about 30 grams of saltine crackers in half.
- 9. Portion the cheese mixture using a small ice cream scoop.
- 10. Shape the portion into a ball.
- 11. Roll the ball in the nut mixture.
- 12. Skewer the ball onto a half saltine cracker.
- 13. Repeat the process with the remaining cheese mixture.
- 14. Serve the balls as desired with olives, peppers, dried tomatoes, nuts, and cheese cubes.
